About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Cyber Security Analyst
to join our security team. In this role, you will monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats to protect our systems, networks, and data. This position is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and safeguarding digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems, logs, and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze security incidents and conduct root-cause investigations.
  • Assist in implementing and managing security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
  • Participate in incident response and recovery activities.
  • Help develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, risks, and security trends.
  • Prepare security reports, documentation, and compliance records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security roles (internships/projects acceptable).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS).
  • Understanding of incident response and risk management processes.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or SOC Analyst certification.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
  • Familiarity with EDR and threat intelligence tools.
