Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounts Generalist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a range of accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial discrepancies, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing. This role requires strong analytical skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including processing invoices, vendor bills, and timely follow-up on overdue invoices.
  • Perform all necessary bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing journal entries and accruals.
  • Prepare essential financial reports, including Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Ensure all financial statements and records comply with GAAP and internal policies.

Trade Finance & Compliance

  • Execute trade finance transactions, including managing Letters of Credit (LCs), trade credit lines, and import/export financing.
  • Liaise with banks, logistics, and procurement teams to streamline international payment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable international trade regulations (sanctions, AML, and KYC).
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to currency exchange and counterparty credit.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 23 years in an accounting or finance role.

  • Technical:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime) is highly desirable.
