Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestNG.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure requirements are testable and accurately implemented.
  • Conduct regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and follow up on bug resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS) and cross-browser testing.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
