Location: Mumbai (Andheri West) Hybrid

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in capital markets and hands-on experience working with hedge funds, asset managers, private equity, or investment banking clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in fund accounting, asset management platform implementation, and exposure to process automation or Generative AI projects.

You will act as a strategic bridge between business and technology teams, driving the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements (BRD, FRD).
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.
  • Lead implementation of fund accounting or asset management platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and developers.

  • Support initiatives involving AI/ML or Generative AI for use cases like:

  • Document processing

  • Client onboarding

  • Investment analysis automation

  • Conduct and manage User Acceptance Testing(UAT).

  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and workflow automation platforms to track progress.
  • Facilitate client workshops, product demos and training sessions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and support continuous process improvement.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in financial services or fintech.
  • knowledge in fund accounting, asset management, and investment operations.
  • Proven experience in implementing or enhancing platforms used by hedge funds or PE firms.
  • Exposure to process automation, workflow optimization, and AI/ML projects.
  • Excellent documentation skills BRD, FRD, use cases, and test scenarios.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work in cross-cultural, global delivery environments.
