Automation Test Engineer (Web & Mobile)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced *Automation Test Engineer* to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for both *web and mobile applications*. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing frameworks, CI/CD integration, and QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms.

Work closely with the development and QA teams to identify test scenarios suitable for automation.

Integrate automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (GitLab / GitHub Actions / Jenkins).

Generate and analyze test execution reports (HTML, Allure, etc.).

Perform regression testing to ensure stability across releases.

Maintain automation framework and enhance test coverage.

Collaborate in Agile sprints to ensure timely and quality releases.

Report defects and track them to closure using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium.

Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / Python (depending on chosen framework).

Hands-on experience testing Android and iOS apps using Appium.

Experience with Mocha / Jest / TestNG / Pytest for automation testing.

Familiarity with API automation (Postman, Newman, or RestAssured).

Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation report generation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Experience with performance testing (JMeter or similar tools).

Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
