**Primary Responsibilities**
- Primary responsibilities include working with Dev/PM/Test to design and implement test and validation strategies throughout the development life cycle
- Test Planning, test preparation, Test execution, and Test status reporting
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suites using Selenium and Java
- Write, execute and debug automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug complex systems
- Detect underlying problems, patterns, and looks beyond the obvious. Assist in the analysis of test results to identify the root cause of failure
- Identify opportunities for process, tools and test methodology improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
- Work with the open source to scale up test automation practices, and provide robust releases.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent development skills in either Java or C# is mandatory
- Excellent Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures & design patterns
- Experience in communicating with business teams, other development teams, & management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG / Junit, build tools and Continuous Integration tools
- Good hands on automation experience in creating frameworks, object identification & scripting
- Should be able to design & implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suites
- Experience of API automation, integration and unit testing is good to have.
- Experience of configuration management tools (GIT / SVN / TFS) and configuration concepts (branching, merging etc.)
- Experience and understanding of Agile development concepts
- Excellent communication skills, organizational & team building skills.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years’ experience in software test automation and/or development
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
