Company Description About Sopra Steria Sopra Steria a major Tech player in Europe with 50 000 employees in nearly 30 countries is recognised for its consulting digital services and solutions It helps its clients drive their digital transformation and obtain tangible and sustainable benefits The Group provides end-to-end solutions to make large companies and organisations more competitive by combining in-depth knowledge of a wide range of business sectors and innovative technologies with a collaborative approach Sopra Steria places people at the heart of everything it does and is committed to putting digital to work for its clients in order to build a positive future for all In 2024 the Group generated revenues of EUR5 8 billion The world is how we shape it Job Role UFT Automation Tester Skillset UFT VBScript HP ALM Experience 4- 6 years Location Noida only Work Model Hybrid Role We are seeking a skilled UFT Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts using UFT formerly HP UFT QTP Strong experience working with Excel data sources and performing database validations within test scripts Responsible for creating robust scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks and integrating test data from various sources Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using UFT Strong experience with data-driven testing using Excel e g DataTable operations parameterization Perform database testing by writing and executing SQL queries for validation Create and maintain object repositories and function libraries in UFT Analyze test results log defects and work closely with the development team for resolution Optimize and refactor test scripts for performance and reusability Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation strategy Familiarity with descriptive programming in UFT Ability to debug and troubleshoot automation script failures Mandatory Skills Hands-on experience with UFT QTP automation scripting Strong knowledge of VBScript UFT scripting language Experience in data-driven testing using Excel DataTables Understanding of object repository function libraries and descriptive programming Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools e g ALM QC Good understanding of software testing life cycle STLC and test methodologies Good to Have Skills Knowledge of version control tools like Git Exposure to CI CD tools e g Jenkins Basic knowledge of API testing Ability to build or enhance UFT automation frameworks Familiarity with integration of UFT with ALM Basic knowledge of other automation tools e g Selenium Qualifications B Tech B E MCA Additional Information At our organization we are committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination We foster a work environment that is inclusive and respectful of all differences All of our positions are open to people with disabilities
