Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - AWS Cloud & Container Infrastructure Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud & Container Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize our container-based infrastructure hosted on AWS. This role will also be responsible for day-to-day AWS resource management, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across our cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities

•    Container Infrastructure Management
o    Design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed clusters).
o    Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
o    Monitor and optimize container performance, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.

•    AWS Cloud Administration
o    Manage core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and EBS.
o    Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades for AWS resources.
o    Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.

•    Security & Compliance
o    Enforce best practices for IAM roles, policies, and least privilege access.
o    Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

•    Monitoring & Troubleshooting
o    Set up monitoring and alerting for AWS and container workloads.
o    Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.

•    Automation & Optimization
o    Develop automation scripts using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
o    Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications

•    Technical Expertise
o    Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
o    Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
o    Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
o    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

•    Programming & Scripting
o    Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

•    Security & Networking
o    Understanding of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, security groups).
o    Experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.

•    Soft Skills
o    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
o    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

•    AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

•    Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

•    Familiarity with container security tools and practices.
