Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Procurement Executive to join our team at our corporate office in Kukatpally. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring engineering-related goods and services for a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities for engineering, maintenance, and project-related items.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
  • Issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), analyze quotations, and negotiate prices and terms with vendors.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
  • Coordinate with the engineering, maintenance, and production teams to understand technical requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
  • Work closely with stores and finance departments for GRN, invoice clearance, and vendor payments.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in engineering procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry Formulations.
  • Good understanding of technical specifications and engineering components.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP / ERP preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
