Procurement Intern – Mechanical Engineering (ITI / Diploma)

About the Internship:

We are looking for enthusiastic
ITI or Diploma students in Mechanical Engineering
who are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in
procurement, vendor coordination, and component sourcing
for our R&D and product development projects.

This internship provides a strong foundation in
mechanical procurement, supply chain management, and real-world industrial processes
, making it an excellent opportunity to bridge classroom knowledge with professional practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and sourcing
    mechanical components, tools, and materials
    for prototype development.
  • Support the R&D team in comparing vendor quotations and preparing cost analyses.
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation for components purchased.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers and fabricators for order follow-ups and delivery tracking.
  • Learn about
    inventory management
    , vendor communication, and technical evaluation of components.
  • Contribute to process improvements in procurement and component standardization.

Eligibility:

  • Qualification:
    ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (pursuing or completed)
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical components and materials
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership
