Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the hospital billing department to ensure efficient and accurate billing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital billing regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze hospital billing edits/rejections to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor billing staff to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing procedures and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on billing activities and performance metrics.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Any bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in hospital billing in the US healthcare system.
  • Proven experience as a Hospital Billing Deputy Manager/ Manager in US Healthcare
  • In-depth knowledge of hospital billing procedures, codes, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
