Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced person for the role of HR Manager - Hiring & Culture to keep up with our need of fast hirings and keeping the culture intact and growing.
This role requires someone with strong attention to future projections, excellent interpersonal skills, unorthodox knowledge of new age company culture and most importantly the skill to source and onboard top talent for our fast-growing advertising agency.
The ideal candidate mainly will ensure our fast and smooth recruitment efforts to continue to build the A+ people team.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of HR experience mainly in hiring management.
- Strong understanding of PF, ESI, TDS, and labor laws related to salary disbursement.
- Proven track record of hiring for roles in advertising, performance marketing, or related industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate with employees, candidates, and management.
- Proficiency in HR software/tools (e.g., Zoho People, Keka, or similar).
- Smart employee evaluation methods
- Ability to multitask and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibility:
Hiring
- Understand organizational needs and design hiring strategies to fulfill current and future requirements.
- Use job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and other platforms to identify suitable candidates.
- Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate with department heads for final rounds.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new hires, including paperwork, induction, and training coordination.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pool for future hiring needs.
Payroll and Salary Calculation
- Ensure timely and accurate calculations of salaries to all employees.
- Manage payment calculations to freelancers, vendors, and contractors, adhering to the company's payment schedule.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS) and tax regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, salary slips, and payout-related documents.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports for management review.
Day to Day Tasks
- Ensure all salaries, payouts, and deductions are processed accurately and on time.
- Actively work on open job positions, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding.
- Address employee concerns related to salaries, benefits, or hiring.
- Maintain records of payroll, contracts, and onboarding documents to ensure legal compliance.
- Provide updates on hiring progress and payroll status to management.
