Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator

Qualification:

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Tool & Die Making or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in operating and setting up CNC Lathe machines.

Job Location:

  • Ambattur, Chennai

Job Summary:

The CNC Lathe Operator will be responsible for operating and setting up CNC Lathe machines to produce precision components as per design specifications, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely output.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines as per production drawings and process sheets.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances accurately.
  • Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
  • Perform tool offset and program input using CNC controls.
  • Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
  • Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
  • Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and daily maintenance schedules.
  • Report any deviation, tool wear, or equipment malfunction to the supervisor.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality norms.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of CNC programming basics (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi).
  • Hands-on experience with measuring tools and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
