We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our growing team in the interior and modular solutions sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of modular furniture, interior décor solutions, and end-to-end modular home products, ensuring a seamless customer experience from inquiry to closing the sale. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about interior design, modular solutions, and consultative selling.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate leads, engage with potential clients, and convert inquiries into confirmed sales for interior and modular product lines.
  • Conduct detailed requirement discussions with customers to understand space layout, design preferences, budgets, and timelines.
  • Present product catalogs, modular layouts, material options, and design concepts that align with client needs.
  • Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate project scoping, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide clients with expert guidance on modular kitchen, wardrobe, furniture, and full home interior solutions.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of trends in interior and modular furniture markets, including finishes, hardware, space optimization, and design technologies.
  • Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and product recommendations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships through post-sale support and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with showroom staff, design consultants, architects, and channel partners to drive referrals and revenue growth.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain CRM entries, track sales funnels, and generate reports on sales progress and forecast.
  • Participate in sales promotions, exhibitions, store walk-ins, and interior design events to increase brand visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in interior sales, modular sales, furniture retail, real estate interiors, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of modular products (kitchens, wardrobes, furniture), basic design concepts, and interior material specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present and pitch to customers confidently.
  • Proven experience in achieving individual or team sales targets.
  • Ability to quickly understand customer needs and recommend solutions in a consultative sales manner.
  • Comfortable with client interactions, site visits, designing discussions, and showroom walk-ins.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic computer usage.
    (Familiarity with design tools like SketchUp/AutoCAD/Modular design software will be an added advantage.)
  • Strong negotiation, closure, and objection-handling skills.
  • High ownership, customer service orientation, and willingness to learn new products and trends.
  • Graduation in any discipline; preference for candidates from Interior/Furniture/Architecture/Design industry.
