Position Overview:

Boeing India Defense Private Limited (BIDPL) is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer to support the Indian Air Force AH-64 Support Program at Pathankot, Punjab, India.

Boeing Defense India delivers advanced capability and readiness to India's military customers through Sustainment Programs for platforms such as AH-64, CH-47, P-8I and C-17 aircraft. This position will be part of an on-site team at the IAF base at Pathankot providing sustainment & technical support services to the Indian Air Force and will report to BIDPL's Apache Sustainment Program Integration Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the on-site field services team towards satisfying maintenance requirements of the customer.

• Regular (daily) coordination with customers and internal stakeholders on maintenance and material planning, performance monitoring and reporting aircraft status.

• Interact with & advise local Indian Air Force leadership on all technical and logistics matters in order to deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

• Coordinate with internal reach back resources and provide expeditious response to technical requests, memos, and customer communications.

• Forecast requirement of resources and ensure timely availability of personnel, facilities, services, equipment, and tools in support of the sustainment contract.

• Understand performance metrics, prepare and review required contract deliverable reports, that would be used as performance reports provided to the customer.

• Consistently provide high levels of customer support during regular shifts/ off-hours.

• Communicate with cross functional teams including engineering and supply chain.

• Identify and resolve any issues and provide solutions or recommendations to ensure the successful execution of the sustainment program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required as BASIC QUALIFICATION and 13 or more years' of related work experience.

• Experience in fleet maintenance and maintenance planning in a government/private aircraft enterprise.

• Experience in logistic support, planning and management in a government/private aircraft enterprise.

• Experience with schedule management, as well as understanding of program execution to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities, ability to inspire and foster collaboration within cross functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Creativity in problem solving.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate multifaceted information to diverse audiences.

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in maintaining a highly functional office for the on-site team.

• Prior experience working with Indian Air Force or Indian armed forces.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 12 years' related work experience.
