Job Title: Data Base Modeling Developer

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop logical and physical data models to represent electrical transmission and distribution networks.
  • Translate Electrical SLDs into structured data models for use in Oracle databases and related systems.
  • Work with electrical engineers to model network topology, substations, feeders, transformers, breakers, and related assets.
  • Maintain Oracle database schemas and optimize performance using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Integrate data from various sources including GIS, SCADA, OMS, DMS, and other grid systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with industry standards such as CIM (Common Information Model) or IEC standards.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data dictionaries, data models, and architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with GIS, IT, and engineering teams for system integration and data consistency.

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling in electrical power systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL, schema design, and optimization.
  • Deep understanding of electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and ability to translate SLDs into database structures.
  • Familiarity with electrical network connectivity modeling, including substations, feeders, protective devices, and voltage levels.
  • Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner).
  • Experience working in the utilities or power sector is highly preferred.

Mode of Work : WFO(Work From Office)

Notice period : Only immediate,15 days,30days and 60days.
