Role Overview: As a Team Member/Manager in the Intellectual Property Cell Formulation team at Vikhroli, Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in supporting product development by providing timely IP inputs to relevant stakeholders such as RA, R&D, etc. Your insights will be invaluable in patent litigation and opposition, ensuring alignment with product strategy in a cost-effective manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for undertaking due diligence of products to highlight key patent rights and identify acquisition or early launch potential. Your role will also involve identifying new product opportunities, evaluating innovative ideas, and conducting patent searches to determine patentable inventions for further patent applications, thus enhancing the patent estate. Key Responsibilities: - Support product development by providing timely IP inputs to stakeholders - Provide insights in patent litigation and opposition for product strategy alignment - Undertake due diligence of products to identify key patent rights - Identify new product opportunities for driving portfolio selection - Conduct patent searches to determine patentable inventions - File and prosecute patent applications for bolstering patent estate - Lead due diligence activities for products of interest in M&A deals Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law - Relevant experience of 8 years for B. Pharm holders and 6 years for M. Pharm holders, preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law Additional Details: You should possess relevant techno-legal experience in regulated markets and have in-depth knowledge of Patent laws in India, US, and Europe. An eye for detail and acumen for Paragraph IV filings in the USA will be beneficial for excelling in this role.,
