As a Team Member in the Compliance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the bank's compliance with various regulations and internal policies. Your work will directly impact the bank's reputation and ensure a stable and secure environment for our customers. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals, providing support and contributing to the development and implementation of effective compliance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes, keeping the team updated on any new requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to other departments on compliance-related matters, ensuring a consistent approach.
- Collaborate with the legal team to address any legal or compliance-related issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct training sessions for new team members and provide ongoing compliance education.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance-related inspections or inquiries.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of any compliance-related incidents or complaints.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in compliance management.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, law, or business administration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably in the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks, including RBI guidelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in using compliance software and tools for monitoring and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on compliance-related matters.
