Job Overview:

We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in credit underwriting, preferably with exposure to venture capital or venture debt financing. The role involves end-to-end evaluation of investment opportunities, from analysing business models to coordinating deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities by analyzing pitch decks, financials, and business assumptions.
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling of potential investee companies.
  • Perform in-depth business analysis to assess sustainability, scalability, and growth potential.
  • Analyze industry landscape and the competitive positioning of target companies.
  • Prepare credit memos and investment notes for internal credit approvals.
  • Draft term sheets in consultation with the legal team for proposed deals.
  • Provide commercial inputs for definitive documentation.
  • Coordinate with legal and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate deal closure and fund disbursement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit underwriting, preferably in venture debt or structured finance.
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of early-stage companies and investment evaluation.
  • Good coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
