About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented US Tax Accountant with strong expertise in US tax compliance and accounting. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S, and mandatory expertise in Forms 5471 & 5472. This role also requires proficiency in end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, and specialized exposure to subscription-based businesses and deferred revenue accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review US individual and corporate tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S).
  • Handle mandatory compliance and reporting for Form 5471 & 5472.
  • Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for US clients.
  • Record and reconcile transactions for subscription-based businesses and deferred revenue models.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and IRS regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients for tax planning, filings, and clarifications.
  • Provide support in audits and advisory matters where needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in US tax preparation and accounting.
  • Strong expertise in Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S and mandatory experience with 5471 & 5472.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, subscription revenue, and deferred payment accounting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting/tax software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • CPA or EA qualification preferred (not mandatory).
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
