Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage scientific projects related to soil science, crop systems, forestry, and carbon management.
  • Conduct soil sampling and oversee laboratory analysis.
  • Analyze data using tools such as Python, R, or similar software.
  • Apply and develop models to assess soil processes and carbon dynamics.
  • Collaborate with teams to align projects with carbon protocols and standards (training provided if needed).
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Soil Science, Crop Science, Forestry, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with soil sampling, laboratory analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and/or modeling (e.g., DNDC, RothC, DayCent).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
