We are looking for a Front-End Developer Intern who is passionate about Angular and web technologies. You'll work closely with our founder and engineering team to build key user-facing features for modules like Homework, Exams, Finance, HR, and Dynamic MCQ systems.

Responsibilities: Required Skills and Qualifications - Front-End Development (Angular):

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications by validating functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand new features and clarify user stories from JIRA.
• Create, manage, and track JIRA stories, subtasks, and defects effectively.
• Design and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and maintain test logs.
• Identify, document, and retest bugs and issues, ensuring clear communication in the defect lifecycle.
• Get hands-on exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Postman, or JUnit as per project needs.
• Write and maintain test scripts for automated test cases under guidance.
• Prepare and share daily test reports, status updates, and test coverage metrics.
• Attend daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, contributing from a QA perspective.
• Work closely with UI and backend developers to ensure smooth end-to-end testing and integration validation.
• Allocate 3 days per week to active testing tasks and issue validation.
• Spend 2 days per week in structured learning of Angular (Frontend) and Java/Spring Boot (Backend) as part of the company's full-stack training.
• Participate in internal workshops and code/testing reviews to enhance technical and quality assurance skills.
• Follow testing best practices, agile methodologies, and maintain version control of scripts and documents.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude, good analytical skills, and the ability to work well within a collaborative development environment.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, QA, and senior developers
• Perform debugging, unit testing, and UI validations
• Explore and adopt best practices in Angular and front-end development
• Document features, components, and technical decisions

Collaboration with Team Members:

• Work closely with senior developers, designers, product managers, and QA engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to provide updates on progress and any roadblocks.
• Contribute actively in team discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Seek guidance and feedback from team members to enhance your technical skills.
• Provide constructive feedback to other team members during code reviews.

Documentation:

• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation for Angular components, modules, and services.
• Write clear and concise code comments to improve readability and maintainability.
• Maintain UI/UX documentation based on design mockups and user workflows.
• Contribute to internal guides or tutorials for using developed UI features and components.
• Document development learnings, challenges, solutions, and front-end best practices encountered during the internship.
• Ensure consistent and updated documentation as the UI evolves during the development cycle.

Other Responsibilities:

Real-World Scenarios You'll Experience

Scenario 1: Feature Implementation

You'll be assigned to develop a new feature for our customer portal. Working with a senior front-end developer and designer, you'll implement an Angular component that displays user transaction history using mock data or existing APIs.

You'll participate in planning meetings, break down UI requirements, create responsive layouts, and present your work for review and feedback. You'll follow UI/UX guidelines and ensure consistency across devices and screen sizes.

Scenario 2: Bug Resolution

You'll investigate reported UI bugs and Angular-related issues in the application. This may involve inspecting browser console logs, analyzing Angular component behavior, or checking styling inconsistencies. After identifying the root cause, you'll implement front-end fixes, document the resolution to avoid regression.

Scenario 3: Code Refactoring

As part of our technical debt reduction initiative, you'll help refactor legacy front-end code to align with current standards. This may include converting plain JavaScript components to TypeScript, upgrading older Angular components to newer Angular versions, cleaning up CSS styles, or improving modularity and reusability of existing components.

Scenario 4: Development Team Rhythm

You'll experience our complete front-end development cycle and Agile rituals:

• Monday: Sprint planning and task assignment
• Tuesday–Thursday: UI development, component testing, and code reviews
• Friday: Preparing a working demo of your front-end tasks and participating in sprint retrospectives

Documentation Responsibilities

• Create technical documentation for components and services you develop
• Document API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Maintain up-to-date comments in your code
• Contribute to internal knowledge base articles
• Prepare end-of-internship knowledge transfer documents

Team Structure

• Senior Full Stack Developer (mentor)
• UI/UX Designer
• Product Manager

Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
• Basic knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and Java
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with REST APIs and database concepts
• Version control experience with Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and adapt
