Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Work Hours: 8–10 hours per day

Experience: 5+ years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with hands-on experience in Drupal CMS, React-based web applications, and Playwright automation using JavaScript or Python. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript or Python).
  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for React-based web applications.
  • Test and validate components and workflows within Drupal CMS environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous test improvement.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics on quality and coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
  • Strong expertise with Playwright using JavaScript or Python.
  • Experience testing React-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Drupal CMS.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and remote collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with Docker or containerized test setups.
  • Knowledge of accessibility or performance testing tools.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹60,000.00 per month
