Job Title: Technical Consultant / App Development Architect (MERN Stack – Hospitality Domain)

Location: Mumbai

About the role

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant with strong expertise in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, , , ) to collaborate with our outsourced development team on a hospitality-based application. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, consulting, and architecture advisory responsibilities, ensuring the app aligns with business goals and modern technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical liaison between the client and development team.
  • Review existing codebase, architecture, and product roadmap to suggest technical enhancements, performance improvements, and scalability updates.
  • Guide and mentor the team in implementing best practices for backend and frontend development.
  • Ensure smooth integration of APIs, databases, and third-party tools for hospitality-specific features (booking, CRM, POS, etc.).
  • Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback for maintainability and performance.
  • Evaluate new technologies or frameworks relevant to product goals.
  • Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Oversee deployment and production troubleshooting as needed.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in , , , MongoDB, and RESTful API development.
  • Experience in microservices architecture, scalable system design, and API security.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud services for app deployment.
  • Sound understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and DevOps pipelines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks and optimize performance.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or service-based application development is a plus.

Preffered Soft Skill:

  • Excellent project management and cross-functional team coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to user experience and system scalability.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Ideal Candidate

  • Has 7–12 years of experience in full-stack or backend architecture roles.
  • Has worked as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Technical Consultant.
  • Experience in MERNSTACK
  • Can balance hands-on coding with team coordination and code review responsibilities.
  • Understands hospitality industry app workflows preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrates leadership in outsourcing or cross-border collaboration environments.
