Job Overview

The Human Resources Intern position at Doshion PolyScience Pvt Ltd is a full-time opportunity based in Ahmedabad, ideal for freshers with 0 to 1 years of experience. This role will provide hands-on HR exposure, supporting the daily functions of the HR department in a leading manufacturing company.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess recruitment support experience, assisting with candidate screening, interview coordination, and shortlisting candidates (Mandatory skill).
  • Onboarding coordination skills, with the ability to help facilitate smooth joining processes for new hires, ensuring all documentation and induction activities are completed efficiently.
  • Attendance management capabilities, including maintaining and updating employee attendance records and leave registers accurately for the HR team.
  • Payroll assistance experience, providing support to HR for processing monthly payroll and assisting in maintaining confidential employee information.
  • Knowledge or experience in talent acquisition, contributing to initiatives to attract and engage potential candidates across diverse job portals or networks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective internal coordination and responding to staff queries or concerns.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity, ensuring adherence to company policies and data security.
  • Keen organizational and multi-tasking skills with a proactive attitude towards learning different aspects of the HR function in a manufacturing setup.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR team with recruitment support activities, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for various departments.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees by managing documentation, conducting induction sessions, and facilitating smooth integration into the organization.
  • Maintain up-to-date attendance and leave records, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates for payroll input and compliance purposes.
  • Support monthly payroll processes by providing necessary employee data and assisting in the overall payroll administration cycle.
  • Participate in talent acquisition efforts by actively supporting job postings, resume screening, and managing communications with prospective candidates.
  • Address and resolve employee HR queries related to attendance, payroll, or onboarding with clarity and professionalism.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement and development activities, enhancing workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure all HR operations comply with internal policies and relevant employment regulations, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
