Position: Data Analyst Machine Learning, BAA

The Pahwa Group is seeking to fill Data Analyst – Machine Learning position. The candidate selected should be an Engineering graduate (preferably from a reputed Engineering Institute in India). The position would report to the Vice President – Engineering. An individual who can bridge the gap between business challenges and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical expertise, proven experience in developing and deploying data models, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate discussions with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business challenges, refine use cases, and translate them into well-defined Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) projects.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to define and execute the entire product development lifecycle — from concept, design, data curation, testing, and model deployment to post-deployment performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate the maturity, viability, and suitability of AI research, emerging technologies, and industry trends to guide strategic decision-making and innovation.
  • Interpret findings, incorporate feedback, prioritize refinements, and manage iterative development cycles while maintaining alignment with project timelines and goals.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical: Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Analytical: Strong data interpretation, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Machine Learning: Proven experience in building, validating, and deploying data-driven models.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to derive business insights from complex and large-scale datasets.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and curiosity.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business, product, and engineering teams to drive data-informed decisions and maximize organizational value.

Educational Requirements:

B.E. / B. Tech. (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics) or Diploma or

Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or Python for Data Science will be an added advantage.
