Role summary

We're looking for a detail-obsessed MIS Analyst to own regular business reporting, build and maintain dashboards, and turn operational and financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, consolidate and distribute regular management reports (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) — P&L summaries, variance analysis, topline metrics, etc.
  • Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports (Power BI / Tableau / Looker).
  • Extract, transform and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, spreadsheets, databases).
  • Write and maintain SQL queries, Excel models and automated processes to reduce manual effort.
  • Ensure data quality and reconcile data across systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and document standard report definitions, KPIs and data dictionaries.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and business queries (scenario analysis, trend analysis, root-cause).
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into dashboards/automations.
  • Implement process improvements (reporting cadence, automation, governance).
  • Train stakeholders on using dashboards and interpreting metrics.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting as required.

Required skills & experience

  • 2+ years experience in MIS, reporting, business analytics or a related function.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Query, VBA/macros desirable).
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI / Tableau / Looker / Qlik).
  • Comfortable with data modeling, ETL concepts and basic data warehousing principles.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication—able to present insights to non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-have

  • Basic knowledge of Python/R for data tasks and automation.
  • Prior experience in the industry (FinTech / Insurance)— optional.
