The Senior Admission Counselor will be responsible for leading the student admission process, counseling prospective students, guiding them through program/course selection, and ensuring smooth enrollment. The role requires strong communication, mentoring, and conversion skills along with the ability to drive admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries and follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, and walk-ins.
  • Counsel students and parents on available programs, career opportunities, and institute benefits.
  • Guide students in selecting suitable courses based on their academic background, interests, and career goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end admission process, from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
  • Train and support junior counselors to improve their counseling and conversion skills.
  • Organize admission events, seminars, orientation programs, and career guidance sessions.
  • Maintain a proper record of leads, counseling sessions, and conversions using CRM/ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing and academic teams to improve admission campaigns.
  • Provide periodic reports on admission trends, student concerns, and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Education, Business, Marketing, or related fields).
  • 2–5 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or sales (education sector preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong convincing and negotiation ability.
  • Ability to mentor a team of counselors.
  • Target-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of academic programs (Engineering, IT, CAD, Management, etc. based on institute).
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
