Job Title: Network Engineer (Firewall / Switching)

Experience: 3–4 Years

Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Location: Cochin

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in firewall management, switching, and overall network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments and ensuring seamless network operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls.
  • Manage L2/L3 switches, VLANs, trunking, and routing protocols.
  • Perform network monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Handle VPN configuration (site-to-site and client VPN).
  • Manage network security policies, access controls, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide support for network-related issues to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain network documentation and configuration records.
  • Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in firewalls and switching.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and routing.
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls and managed switches.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, NSE, or equivalent are an added advantage.
