We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer (L3) with a strong background in ISP network operations and Linux system administration. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing a large-scale ISP backbone network and ensuring high availability and security of core network services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain ISP backbone infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Provide expert L3 technical support to resolve escalated network issues and outages.
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Administer and optimize Linux servers supporting DNS, DHCP, network monitoring, and automation.
  • Work with network devices from MikroTik, Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet.
  • Monitor network health and performance using tools like Zabbix, PRTG, or LibreNMS.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies, traffic management, QoS, ACLs, and NAT.
  • Collaborate with NOC and field teams to deliver uninterrupted services.
  • Document all network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions thoroughly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in ISP or large-scale network operations.
  • Expertise in network design, routing, and switching.
  • Proficient in Linux system administration with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools.
  • Deep understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and network security principles.
  • Proven skills in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLAN configurations.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, MTCINE, RHCE, or NSE preferred.
