Role Purpose
To lead project execution teams and ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of projects. The role bridges technical execution with client engagement, vendor coordination, and process discipline. The Project Lead acts as the key operational anchor between site teams and management, while being developed as a potential successor to the Project Head.

Description
Project Execution & Delivery
Ensure on-time completion of all project phases as per approved plans, budgets, and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; ensure transparency, satisfaction, and resolution of issues.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Oversee procurement schedules, work orders, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Process & Compliance
Implement project management standards, documentation protocols, safety, and statutory compliance.
Team Leadership & Development
Mentor site engineers and junior staff, promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous skill enhancement.
Reporting & MIS
Maintain accurate project documentation, track KPIs, and submit reports on time to management.
Key Responsibilities
A. Project Management
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, cost plans, and progress charts.
- Conduct regular site reviews and resolve execution bottlenecks proactively.
- Coordinate between design, procurement, and site teams for seamless execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
B. Client & Vendor Relations
- Represent the company during client meetings and inspections.
- Manage communication, feedback, and expectations effectively.
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
- Ensure timely certifications, billing, and vendor payments through structured documentation.
C. Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide development feedback.
- Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and proactive problem-solving.
D. Process & Systems
- Champion the implementation of company SOPs and project management systems (ERP/MIS).
- Standardize reporting formats, checklists, and documentation templates.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to the Projects Head.
E. Business & Financial Contribution
- Track project profitability and cost control measures.
- Minimize material wastage, idle time, and rework.
- Support management in tender review and cost estimation when required.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E. in Construction Management preferred).
- Experience: 10–15 years in real estate or construction project management.
- Preferred Background: Prior experience leading mid-sized teams (10–20 members) and handling multi-vendor environments.
