The Job:
The Sales Engineer will be at the frontline of growth, driving business in Oil & Gas, Specialty Chemicals, Pharma, and Food industries.
This role is about being the customer's trusted partner — building strong relationships, uncovering untapped opportunities, and guiding decisions to position our solutions as the preferred, high-value choice
You will connect plant floors with boardrooms, translating day-to-day operational challenges into long-term strategic wins, while ensuring smooth execution with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Opportunity Creation & Growth
- Build deep relationships with plant teams, procurement, and senior management across accounts.
- Identify unspoken needs and pain points by asking the right questions and mapping customer processes.
- Develop and implement account penetration strategies to expand share of wallet.
- Collaborate with application engineers to design tailored, value-based solutions.
- Position the company as a strategic partner, not just a vendor.
Sales Ownership:
- Understand customer buying journeys and navigate decision hierarchies.
- Engage with influencers and champions to create pull-through demand.
- Resolve techno-commercial queries and lead negotiations to close deals.
- Ensure each opportunity is won on value, not just price.
Customer Success & Retention:
- Support order execution by closely coordinating with internal operations.
- Proactively address issues during delivery, installation, or maintenance.
- Provide technical training to customer teams to build loyalty and trust.
- Ensure smooth payment realization and long-term satisfaction.
Account Planning & Insights
- Build structured account growth plans with clear targets and timelines.
- Track opportunities, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
- Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline.
- 3-6 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in pumps, compressors, or process equipment.
- Prior exposure to key account management or MRO business is highly desirable.
- Strong network in Oil & Gas, Specialty Chemical, or Pharma industries preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to engage at plant and corporate levels.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹23, ₹70,506.22 per month
