We are looking for a dynamic individual as a Senior Manager/Senior Scientist for Aesthetic & Durability research group at Research and Development Centre.

The applicant will be responsible to implement, manage, lead, the R&D activities, covering new product development, product modifications, product/application development, for a broad range of materials in the field of carbon black, carbonaceous nano-structured materials, dyes and pigments, resins and related compositions/formulations for plastics, ink, paints, and coating applications to cater business development.

The applicant will also be responsible for investigative research, to address the internal and external customers complaints to retain and promote existing organization business.

Key Result Areas: -----

* Promote Strategic R&D Initiatives for Aesthetic and Durability

Assist adequately and strategically to establish technology and product platforms for the Organization, based on existing and/or emerging technologies.

Identify potential path forward (i.e. technology gaps assessment, competitive product and patent portfolio analysis, and literature study) in alignment with stakeholders, and intra-organizational collaboration.

* Develop Short-, Medium- and Long-Term Projects Interact with key stakeholders to grow understanding of customers future plan, applications and issues.

Transfer this understanding in terms of the companys technology capability and partners with internal stakeholders to propose new directions.

*Lead to Identify the Problem Statement, Design of Experiment, Measure, Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis

Lead laboratory and pilot level studies for abroad range of formulations, products and applications development, product failure, product processing for plastics compounds, plastics masterbatches, Inks, coating, adhesive, sealant, caulking compounds, dispersion,

as well as materials characterization with alignment to project objectives, summarize and communicate results to management and internal stakeholders on project outcome and possible new study and product requirements.

*Advanced Testing and Characterization Exposure to plastics formulation, processing spectrum, shaping, advanced characterization covering mechanical behavior, thermal response, electrical conductivity measurement, thermal conductivity measurement, color performance, flame behavior, X-ray diffraction, microscopy, photo electron spectroscopy, rheology etc. Inks, coating, paints, adhesive, sealant formulation, rheological behavior, color etc.

Preferred candidate profile: ----

Education: ---- M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech. in Polymer Science and Technology, Plastics Technology, or Inks and Paints Technology.
