Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing software applications including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Big Data model techniques using Python / Java.
  • Extensive experience in developing complex stored Procedures/BTEQ Queries.
  • Engage with onsite offshore team for daily activities Status reporting weekly and monthly basis.
  • Understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud-based implementation and testing and clearly documenting the requirements to create technical and functions specs
  • Build Snowflake capability with warehouse sizing, Database standards, Ingestion standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data warehousing/migrations and cloud technologies.
  • Experience in Snowflake Development / Hadoop system migration.
  • Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Model and Data Integration concepts
  • Hands-on experience in Snowflake and at least one more cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) in client implementations
  • Knowledge of AWS S3, AWS Kinesis, AWS DMS
  • Experience implementing Snow pipes, CDC, SnowSQL, performance tuning, monitoring, etc. as part of Snowflake implementations
  • Snow Pro Core certified by Snowflake
  • Hands on experience on Snowflake Architecture - Warehouse sizing, data structures, RBAC
  • Hands on experience on scripting tools like Python & Shell
