Job Title: Senior Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary:

Maharshi Ganatra & Associates is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end accounting and taxation activities. The candidate should possess strong accounting, taxation, and compliance knowledge, and be capable of handling multiple clients independently. Candidates with strong technical skills and sound knowledge may be considered even with lesser experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalization of Books of Accounts – Ensure accurate preparation and closure of financial statements.
  • Preparation of Income Tax Returns – Handle preparation and filing of Individual, LLP, and Company Income Tax Returns.
  • Tax Audit (Form 3CD) – Preparation and filing of Form 3CD and handling related compliance requirements.
  • Client Interaction – Handle and resolve client queries related to accounting, tax, and compliance.
  • GST & TDS Compliance – Prepare and file returns, reconcile data, and ensure timely submissions.
  • Bank & Ledger Reconciliation – Maintain and reconcile all ledgers, vendor accounts, and bank statements.
  • Audit Assistance – Support statutory, tax, and internal audits as required.
  • MIS Reporting – Prepare monthly and yearly MIS, cash flow, and other financial reports.
  • Maintain Accounting Records – Ensure accurate maintenance of vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Tally (latest version) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Direct & Indirect Taxation.
  • Good command over Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, and PT compliances.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 6 years in accounting and taxation.
  • (Candidates with strong technical knowledge and proficiency may be considered even with lesser experience.)
