Job Title: Business Development Executive (Corporate Gifting)
Company Profile: Our client is a renowned corporate merchandising solutions provider serving as a one-stop destination for corporate India's customized merchandising requirements in the corporate gifting industry. We reckon corporate merchandising is a marketing tool for company brand management and not just goodies that make their target audience happy. The purpose is to provide brand loyalty to our clients amongst their external and internal audiences. Our solutions start from this mindset hence we identify products that are aligned to your business campaign and give maximum brand recognition through the corporate merchandising medium. Our client has a total business experience of more than 20 years in the providing solutions in corporate merchandising and gifting. Our endeavor is not just to provide merchandise but make it relevant to business campaigns and target audiences.
Job profile
We are seeking a Business Development Executive (Corporate Gifting) to drive growth in our corporate gifting division. The role requires building strong corporate relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing innovative and customized gifting solutions for employee engagement, client appreciation, events, and festive occasions.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients across industries
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consultative selling.
- Understand client needs and propose customized gifting solutions (festive hampers, merchandise, eco-friendly products, branded items, employee rewards).
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing negotiations to close business deals.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
- Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging product categories.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to organizational growth.
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasts.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven ability in B2B sales and client relationship management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the corporate gifting industry, vendor ecosystem, and product categories.
- Creative mindset to propose innovative and personalized gifting solutions.
- Highly driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Personal Characteristics
- Motivated, self-starter individual with high level of integrity, intensity, and activity with a can-do attitude.
- Should have excellent written and spoken English.
- Technology literate, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
- Proficient in relationship building with existing clients and also need to get involve in lead generation calls for the business
- Disciplined process-oriented work style.
- Able to handle pressure, and good at multi-tasking.
- Passion, energy, and enthusiasm to produce results.
- High degree of integrity and commitment
Required Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 1-6 years of experience in Business Development / Sales, in corporate gifting, promotional merchandise, or event solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong corporate client network is a plus.
- Should be open for traveling within Maharashtra
Job Location: Viman Nagar Pune
Work timing: 10 am 7 pm
