Responsibilities

1.    Understand & implement the safety guidelines at site implementing mechanical activities at site.
2.    Enforce & implements the HSE guidelines at site while execution of all construction activities at site.
3.    Developing & executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines. 
4.    Discuss with team and report any "Misconduct/ Unsafe Condition/ Unsafe Act" and follow-up the closure of the same.
5.    Develop, implement and maintain strategies, plans and procedures to protect employees, property and facilities from workplace health and safety hazards.
6.    Assess workplace hazards and risks and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them.
7.    Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues and ensure compliance with established safety protocols.
8.    Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
9.    Provide regular safety training sessions and organize impactful safety campaigns to promote awareness.
10.    Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.
11.    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety strategies, plans and procedures, and adjust as needed.
12.    Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related matters.
13.    Stay updated about emerging safety trends, regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
14.    Should keep detailed records of all safety-related activities, including training sessions, incident reports, inspections, and equipment maintenance logs.
15.    Ensure that all employees work in accordance with the internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
16.    Assessment of health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and adherence to legal requirements.
17.    Ensure a safe work environment by overseeing the inspection and maintenance of equipment.
18.    Conduct regular reviews and update procedures to keep abreast of current operations and comply with regulations.
19.    Evaluation and analysis of previous injury reports based on available data.
20.    Providing guidance to the project management team regarding health and safety issues and ensuring the site complies with all industry, local, state, and federal guidelines.

Desirable/Preferable    Post-graduation degree, Diploma in Safety Management
Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety/ Post Diploma in Industrial Safety
