SENIOR ASSOCIATE, OPERATIONS.

The Team:

S&P Global WSO team is an industry leader in leveraged loan and high-yield solutions and provides comprehensive products and services for portfolio management, administration, reporting, and analysis.

The Impact:

The Cash Reconciliation team ensures the company's internal cash records align with client data agents and custodian banks, resolving discrepancies and maintaining data accuracy. The team works cross-functionally with other teams within WSO to work on unresolved discrepancies to provide accurate cash data.

  • S&P Global has an opening for an analytical and detail-oriented individual to handle data maintenance, support, training, reporting, and business analysis activities for clients' Structured Finance Obligations, including CLOs, CBOs, and Swaps. 
  • The position offers exposure to external industry entities such as portfolio managers, custodians, and agent banks. 
  • Candidate should display strong financial adaptability, PC skills, and expect full accountabilities for all assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the client's records are accurately reflected by the agent banks / custodians and shown in WSO Recon tool.
  • Responsible to perform cash reconciliation on behalf of clients to match their data with agents and custodians. Should be able to perform detailed research for complex clients.
  • Responsible for conducting accurate research on the cash reconciliation breaks by identifying, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate data for our clients.
  • Responsible to settle trades in WSO for missing trades and ensure timely and efficient processing of rollovers, pay downs, commitment reductions, etc to resolve cash discrepancies.
  • Responsible for daily reconciliations and other one-off task and maintain high quality notes and accuracy for reports and results.
  • Should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments with ability to pivot and adapt quickly to changing business needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • , with an experience of 2-5 years in Loan syndication or Reconciliation.
  • Banking or investment industry experience.
  • Customer relations experience.
  • The ideal candidate will need to be detail oriented and task driven with a strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Able to contribute on an individual basis and as part of a team.
  • Should be flexible with all work shifts available within WSO services.
