Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP.
  • Ensure timely posting of journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

2. Taxation

  • Handle TDS computation, deduction, payment, and filing of returns.
  • Ensure GST compliance including:
  • Registration and amendments
  • Invoice matching
  • Filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9
  • Monthly and annual reconciliations

3. Audit & Compliance

  • Assist in internal and statutory audits.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors and prepare necessary documentation.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate MIS reports for management review and decision-making.

5. Banking & Payments

  • Monitor daily bank transactions and perform reconciliations.
  • Manage vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and petty cash.

6. Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants (e.g., CA firms).
  • Mentor and support junior accountants in their professional development.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (TDS, GST).
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
  • Certification in Tally or GST (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • Accounting
  • Accounts Receivable (A/R) Analysis
  • General finance operations
