Job Title: Marketing Operations Manager (Agency Services)
Location: Remote, Any Location in India (Preferred candidates from Kolkata)

Availability Required: Six days a week – For Part-Time Position, 3 to 5 working hours per day; may be required to be available for online meetings between 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST, especially on Saturdays and Sundays (flexible timings).
Office Timings: Between 7:30 PM to 3:00 AM IST – Flexible Timings.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager for our newly launched Marketing Agency, which provides performance-driven marketing services to external clients and supports the growth of our B2B SaaS company. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to manage the delivery of marketing services, ensure client satisfaction, and optimize results for profitability. You will act as the operational bridge between project managers, execution talent, and leadership (C-level)—ensuring smooth execution of services, accountability for results, and profitability of client accounts.
You will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of client campaigns, driving measurable results, and maintaining account profitability. As one of the early members of this team, you will also help shape the processes, systems, and culture of our marketing agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end marketing service delivery for both internal SaaS products and external client accounts, ensuring execution is timely, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for client satisfaction, proactively managing expectations, addressing concerns, and presenting clear, data-backed justifications for strategies and outcomes.
- Justify and manage situations where campaign results underperform—improving outcomes with corrective actions while maintaining client confidence, without offering refunds.
- Handle client escalations effectively, demonstrating accountability, offering practical improvements, and ensuring service trust without refund dependencies.
- Maintain strong, ongoing communication with clients by setting realistic expectations, providing transparent updates, and nurturing long-term partnerships.
- Oversee campaign execution and optimization across multiple digital channels, ensuring KPIs are met and performance is consistently improved through actionable insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, designers, copywriters, and technical specialists to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns.
- Implement scalable processes and workflows that enhance delivery efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and ensure service quality in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Manage account profitability by tracking costs, invoices, billing cycles, and revenue contributions; ensure services are delivered at a healthy margin.
- Prepare and present operational reports on client performance, revenue impact, and pipeline health to leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Support agency growth initiatives by contributing to new service offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing innovations.
- Roll up your sleeves when required—jump into execution, testing, or client communication whenever needed to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, client services, or agency account management (preferably in B2B SaaS or digital marketing agency).
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics, KPIs, and ROI management.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills—especially in managing client concerns.
- Ability to balance client expectations with agency profitability.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to B2B SaaS marketing or working in a startup/agency environment.
- Knowledge of tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM/marketing automation platforms.
- Experience handling contracts, invoicing, or client billing.

Salary Range and Compensation:
- Part-Time, Hourly Basis – Pay will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience and skill set.
- The proposed salary for this position is competitive and aligned with the market standards in West Bengal, India. Based on the candidate's experience and skills, the monthly salary range will be between INR 30,000 to INR 50,000. The annual CTC (Cost to Company) will range from INR 3,60,000 to INR 6,00,000, inclusive of performance bonuses and benefits. It will be calculated on hourly basis.
Performance Metrics:
- Success in this role will be measured. Performance reviews will be conducted regularly to assess impact and areas for improvement.
