Position: HR Intern (Full-time, On-site)

Location: Thousand Lights, Chennai

Duration: 2–3 Months

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and professional HR Intern to support and manage the end-to-end HR operations of our organization. This is a hands-on internship that offers exposure to practical HR functions and an opportunity to implement HR policies and processes in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Maintain HR records, employee data, and HRMS databases accurately.
  • Assist in payroll processing and coordination with the finance team.
  • Monitor attendance, leaves, and other HR metrics.
  • Provide support in performance management and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Any other HR-related tasks assigned by the HR manager.

Eligibility & Requirements:

  • MBA Final Year student specializing in HR.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with HRMS applications and payroll systems.
  • Understanding of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and payroll.
  • Ability to draft professional HR policies and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
  • Willingness to work from our office at Thousand Lights, Chennai.
  • Must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the college for internship.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance is a plus.
  • Prior internship experience in HR is an added advantage.
