Organization: The Organisation Harley's Fine Baking (), is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200 people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000 people over the next year.

Designation: Captain (Premium Cake & Café Lounge)

Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field. Certification in Food & Beverage Service or Hospitality Management (preferred).

Certifications (Optional but Preferred):

  • HACCP/Basic Food Safety & Hygiene Certification
  • Customer Service or Hospitality Excellence Certification

Experience: Minimum 1+ year as Team Leader/Head Waiter/Restaurant Captain in Food & Beverage services

Job Role: The Captain (F&B Services) will play a pivotal role in ensuring superior guest experience at Harley's Fine Baking. Acting as the bridge between guests, service staff, and kitchen operations, the captain will oversee floor operations, maintain service quality, and train/mentor service associates. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills to uphold Harley's premium brand standards and ensure customer delight.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the dining/service area and ensure smooth service flow.
  • Greet, seat, and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Coordinate between service staff and kitchen to maintain order accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Ensure service standards, hygiene, and presentation align with Harley's Fine Baking's brand image.
  • Manage table allocations, reservations, and guest flow during peak hours.
  • Train, mentor, and monitor service associates to maintain high levels of hospitality.
  • Oversee billing, cash/credit settlements, and assist in daily sales reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
  • Assist in upselling and promoting new menu items, cakes, and beverages.
  • Support management in stock planning for service-related materials.
