  • Inventory & ERP Oversight

  • Monitor stock levels, establish reordering thresholds, and avoid shortages/excesses [], []

  • Supplier Performance & Quality Control

  • Evaluate suppliers for quality, reliability, certifications (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI) [], []

  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure raw materials meet product standards [], []

  • Contract Compliance & Risk Management

  • Develop procurement policies (quotations, bids, approvals) and ensure legal compliance [], []

  • Identify supply chain risks; implement mitigation plans (alternative sourcing, safety stock) [], []

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage kitchen/bakery purchasing team (buyers, analysts), conduct hiring and training [], []

  • Liaise with production, quality, finance, and logistics for integrated planning [], []

  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends and cost drivers in grains or packaging [], []

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4-8 years of experience in food processing industry or related field.
  • Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Manufacturing Engineering).
