The manager's role of business development, marketing, and communications has three dimensions: Establishing Presence, Content and Marketing Management, and business development. This role has a direct impact on child enrollment and the school's social media presence. We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Manager to oversee and expand our preschool business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate sales, strategic partnerships, and experience in managing revenue targets and driving business growth. The position will represent Pathfinders Preschool through all media forums, both in-person and online, as well as in print.
The role description is as follows:
Business Development:
● Creating business development plans through existing leads, market research, and new business ideas.
● Working on targets each quarter and meeting the financial targets
● Proposing new business ideas that can improve revenue.
Marketing (Digital included) and Communications
● Creating, editing, updating, and maintaining online content, including websites, Instagram, and WhatsApp, as well as removing outdated content.
● Writing content and participating in ensuring customers provide feedback
● Clicking photos & write-ups available and updating these on all digital platforms periodically
● Creating images and short micro-content for media pages
● Monitoring the website and our competition and keeping marketing materials in sync with current trends and events.
● Staying abreast with the competition and understanding differences in offerings, sharing findings and ideas with founders periodically.
Participating actively in establishing a good reputation for Pathfinders in the community
This role is for a high achiever who wants to ensure the school's successful growth and community partnerships.
Pre-requisites:
● Own and drive the P&L, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets are met.
● Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
● Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive market penetration.
● Build relationships with parents, heads, as well as administrative and facilities departments.
● Work closely with the operations and expansion teams to identify potential locations for new centers.
● Monitor and improve the performance of the center through localized marketing and engagement strategies.
● Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
● Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, forecasts, and challenges
● Must have an obsession for quality, strong communication skills -written, verbal, and interpersonal
● Must have proficient organizational skills and the ability to meet established deadlines
● Should be well-versed with advanced computer software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, and new trends
● Preference: due to preschool environment
