Job Description

(Functions the person will be handling on day to day basis)

1.Provide Techno Functional Support for Oracle Applications 11i / R12 and its customized versions for Client

2.Provide Key support in the areas of GL (F&A accounting issues ; Account Analysis; Reconciliations, Month End/Period Closure Activities), AP, AR, CM, Eb-Tax

3.On a daily basis, monitor, manage and resolve tickets using IT Support Ticketing tools; Ensure SLAs are met.

4.Should be well verse on Oracle Apps tables related to Finance modules and able to write queries

5.Should be able to work independently on Interface related issues & ensure timely resolution on interface related issues

6.Will interact with IT Support Vendor and other stakeholders in managing support/deliverables within deadlines

7.Support and contribute to Knowledge Management (KBs, Cross trainings) within the team

8.Adheres to the Quality process and Security policies defined for the team

9.Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral) both downstream and upstream with good client facing skills.

10.Provide support in rotational shift basis (including Night Shifts).

Qualification and Job Specification

(Essential (E) and desirable (D) Skill sets/qualities & competencies needed for the position to manage the challenges involved in the job)

1.Minimum Under graduation with major as Computers. B.E / M.CA /M.B.A or equivalent degree

2.Should have minimum 2 years of experience as Oracle Apps Finance Consultant on Modules like Account Payables, Account Receivables, Cash Management & General Ledger

3.Good Communication and inter-personal skills

4.Good Knowledge in IT Quality process
