  • Manage and perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior accountants or accounting staff.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial legislation and best practices.
