Job Summary

Markets Trade & Regulatory Control function responsible to enable Proactive Risk Management via execution of trade and regulatory controls across Markets Business, that adhere to Regulatory guidelines and uphold high standards of operational integrity. We are trusted partners to Markets Business delivering superior risk management practices, Control execution and generate data driven actionable insights to drive informed decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight and Delivery for Global Trade Validation Control involving deal review against external source supporting OTC (FX, rates, Credit, Commodity & Equity derivative business), Forex and Security business. Execute Controls and Reporting, to ensure Risk is captured accurately in compliance to product Booking models.
  • Front office Supervision Controls to perform surveillance on Trading risk positions, trade capture timelines, Regulatory Compliance, Electronic trading platform supervision and Rogue trading Controls.
  • Exception management Controls across FOBO/ FOFO reconciliation and Interface system exception monitoring and reconciliation break resolution to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  • Partner with technology for the system re-platforming project to build effective Control design which is volume scalable and cost effective.
  • Lead New business enablement and product onboarding, partner to deliver strategic initiatives and ensure Operational readiness.
  • Ensure key risk remediation, day-to-day risk monitoring and ensuring timely escalation to mitigate risk exposure.
  • Collaborate with Front Office including Trading and Sales Desks and Business COO to strengthen Business growth and Control framework.
  • Excellent stake holder managements skills & build strong relationship with internal teams across Operations, Risk and Technology to facilitate efficient Collaboration and speedy resolution of issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovations, Partner with Technology to deliver Transformation.
  • Work with Business COO to identify booking model improvements and drive efficiency forums.
  • Achieve Regulatory and Conduct Compliant Middle Office model through a strong understanding of current rules and anticipation of upcoming regulations.
  • Adherence to Global Risk Framework standards of implementation and process management
  • Oversight of Daily Productivity, KPI, KCI and Capacity metrics
