Production Planning Manager

Job Description
1. Production Planning and Scheduling
- Develop production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet customer demands, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and procurement departments to align production schedules with order requirements and material availability.
2. Resource Allocation and Management
- Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise and manage production staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and workforce development initiatives.
3. Quality Assurance and Process Improvement
- Implement quality control measures, inspection protocols, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and customer expectations.
- Identify areas for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction through lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and technology adoption.
4. Production Execution and Monitoring
- Oversee the execution of production activities, including panel assembly, wiring, testing, and inspection, to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Monitor production performance, production KPIs, and key metrics (e.g., yield, efficiency, scrap rates) to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for optimization.
5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management
- Manage inventory levels, materials procurement, and supply chain logistics to support production operations and minimize disruptions.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and supplies needed for production.
6. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and policies applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Implement safety protocols, training programs, and risk mitigation measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for production staff.
7. Continuous Training and Development
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for production staff to enhance skills, knowledge, and competencies related to production processes, equipment operation, and quality standards.
8. Customer Communication and Support
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and project management teams to address customer inquiries, resolve production-related issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate production status, delivery schedules, and project updates to customers and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
9. Vendor Communication
- Confirmation for product delivery and status.
- Technical discussion and resolution.
- Product follow-up.
- Vendor meetings.
- Factory electrical maintenance.
- Product development.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹700, ₹1,080,000.00 per year
