Job Role-Head Business Finance

Location: Delhi/NCR, India

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Industry: Digital Airport Services & Technology

Position brief: The Head Business Finance will be a key part of the executive leadership team of the company. He will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy and execution to drive growth, profitability, and financial sustainability. This Role will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. As a member of senior management, he should be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Finance Leadership: Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with business goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement best practices for fiscal control, cross-functional workflows, and project coordination.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the finance and accounting teams with clarity and purpose.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with Business Development to analyze market opportunities, pricing strategies, and commercial models.
  • Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, drive corrective actions, and deliver insights for earnings calls and board presentations.
  • Investment & M&A Support: Lead financial due diligence, regulatory compliance, and deal structuring for strategic transactions.
  • Forecasting & Analytics: Build rolling forecasts, scenario models, and risk/opportunity frameworks with business heads.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Uncompromising integrity and ethical standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
  • Ability to coach and inspire cross-functional teams
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CA (First attempt), or MBA from a IIM
  • Immediate Joiners or someone who can join within 15 days.
  • 510 years in Business Finance / FP&A, preferably in IT services or IT product-led organizations
  • Strong grasp of accounting standards, revenue recognition, tax laws, and regulatory framework
