About ShefMate

ShefMate is a Pune-based startup on a mission to make home-cooked food accessible through personal chefs. We've already started in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, and the early response shows there's a huge opportunity in this space.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Co-Founder (Equity-Based) who will take charge of sales, marketing, and on-ground growth in Kalyani Nagar and surrounding areas. You'll be the driving force behind customer acquisition, chef onboarding, and building brand presence in Pune.

This is not a salary role. This is a Co-Founder position with equity ownership. If you want to co-build a category-defining company and grow with it, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Lead on-ground sales & marketing in Kalyani Nagar and nearby societies.

Build partnerships with residential communities, corporates, and local businesses.

Drive customer acquisition through both online & offline channels.

Onboard and manage chefs, ensuring smooth operations.

Work closely with the founder to shape vision, strategy & culture.

Who You Are

Based in Pune (preferably Kalyani Nagar) or ready to work on-ground.

Strong background in sales/marketing/operations.

Hands-on hustler – not afraid of ground-level work.

Great communicator & people person.

Entrepreneurial mindset → ready to take ownership in exchange for equity.
